I am quite a shy guy so I prefer getting asked out. I am definitely scared of getting rejected. A lot of my friends don't care about rejection and love to go out and try to attract whoever they like the most. How about you?

I definitely like to be asked out (at least when I was single). Now that I'm married I love it when my husband asks me out all the time.  My advice lludawg... if you are interested in a girl compliment her, find a common interest, and express how you want to learn more about her then ask her what does she want to do? If she asks what do you mean? Ask her do you like to go to the movies? What kind of food do you like to eat? Suggest you do something together based on what her answer is. Confidence is key my friend. Find yours, don't be afraid of rejection - it won't kill you. Just pick yourself up and try again. =) |

Typically as a female it's improper to do the asking.. Yet, that is how my husband and I got together. He's really the shy type. Normally I'd rather a guy as me out! Just saying  |

I don't mind either or. Though I've been asked out more often then I've asked a guy out. I think the reasoning for that is just because I like to take my time to get to know someone so I don't feel in a rush to have titles or date anyone. I want to get to know the individual and make sure we will get along before I date them.
